A restaurant glowing in the foggy night, surrounded by darkness.

NOCTURNES

A silhouette walks toward a lit entrance at night while a half-lit face watches from the right edge.
Two friends at a café terrace at night; she laughs behind her hand, he stares calmly into the lens.
A young man leans toward the lens under direct flash, sticking out his tongue, a dim party behind him.
A young man grins at the camera under flash, hands raised in a playful gesture, a can in one hand.
A man in a cap and sunglasses emerges from near-total darkness by the shore at night.
Streaks of city lights blurred by movement in the night.

PRIVATE

A patterned sculpture of a seated figure emerging from darkness.
A wall of framed black-and-white drawings beneath hanging textile forms, in dim light.
A dark double exposure — a young man smoking, his face in shadow, over a rocky seashore.
A cigarette resting across an empty mug on a dark wooden table, seen from above.

PASSING

A lone figure in a long dark coat walks down a cobbled street lined with bollards.
A man in a leather jacket and scarf holds a pole in a metro carriage, eyes lowered.
An older man in a checked shirt, seen from behind, holding a seat on a bus.
A hand gripping a pole on a bus, in sepia tones.
A man in a hat at a train window, framed on a steep diagonal.
A printed pair of eyes pasted on a wall behind window bars.
A Haussmann-style building corner behind trees, with traffic under a heavy sky.
A red Metro sign beneath a globe streetlamp at dusk.
Three young people outside a building on an overcast day; one squints with a grin.
Black loafers and white socks on a concrete floor.
A shirtless young man eating under the beams of a pergola, a small boat beside him and a wide sky above.
A young man, wet-haired and shirtless, smiling on seaside rocks.
Blurred bathers in rough waves under pastel evening light.

SILENCE

Fir trees fading diagonally into dense fog.
A lone utility pole and its wires on a hill, swallowed by fog.

I'm a student at the University of Lausanne. I've always lived in Switzerland, and photography has been my passion for a few years now.

What I try to capture is a passage, a movement — real moments of life. Taking the picture in the instant, and living the present moment.
